A decade ago i visited the Canadian Museum of History ( formerly
A decade ago i visited the Canadian Museum of History ( formerly Canadian Museum of Civilization) with some friends from Europe. A map of North America illustrated from whence the peoples of Canada /North America originated. Arrows from UK, Europe, etc. There were no arrows illustrating the migration of Asian peoples across the Bering Straight area. This fact had been edited out. The Europeans were aware of the origins of the indigenous populations - but the acquiescence of our federal government to aboriginal myth in a national museum was embarrassing.
